From Small Beginnings

Are you looking for a new start in life?

Have you considered or thought about being born again? Jesus said, “except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.

How about entering the Kingdom of God?

Also to have the blessed assurance of knowing where you are going after you take your last breath on earth?

Jesus said, “truly, truly, I say unto you, except a person be born again, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit.
Marvel not that I said to you, you must be born again.
John 3: 5-7

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God, which lives and abides forever.” 1 Peter 1:23

There is the first birth from the seed of our father. Then there is a second birth for those who have faith, being born again or being born from above.

The first birth from the seed of our father, always ends in the grave after the last breath, because it corrupts; however the second birth, which comes from above and is planted into a person’s heart through the Word of God, endures forever.

Do you want a new beginning? Do you want a new start in life? Do you want a new direction in life? Do you want to live forever?

Jesus said, “that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3: 15-16

Whosoever means whosoever. God is no respecter of persons. He will show mercy to whom He wants to show mercy.

For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world: but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:17

If a person wants to see what the Kingdom of heaven is like, or even enter the Kingdom of heaven, that person must be born again. A person either has the Son or that person does not have the Son, it’s as simple as black or white or night and day. There are no grey areas.

Just like the first birth, it starts from small beginnings with the seed of the father being planted into the woman’s womb.

From small beginnings, faith increases.

The second birth takes faith, Jesus said, “If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed.

The mustard seed is the smallest of seeds, but becomes the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree so that the birds come and perch on its branches.

If you have faith as a mustard seed, you might say unto the Sycamore tree, be you plucked up by the root, and be you planted in the sea; and it shall obey you.” Luke 17:6

The Sycamore tree in the bible is symbolic for repentance and righteousness. Zacchaeus, the tax collector who was despised by the people he was taking taxes from, climbed the Sycamore tree, because He wanted to see Jesus.

Zacchaeus’ life changed after seeing Jesus: Jesus knew that Zacchaeus was a sinner, but He wanted to go to His home and abide with him. Zacchaeus also knew that he was a sinner, but joyfully received Jesus into his home.

What are you prepared to do to see Jesus and invite Him into your heart?

It starts with repentance and ends with being right with God.

From small beginnings, it takes faith. Life is not a dress rehearsal. Are you at the crossroads of life? Are you wondering which way to go?

Jesus said, “I AM the Way the Truth and the Life: no man comes to the Father, but by Me.” John 14:6

To avoid Hell, and to enter the kingdom of heaven, it takes faith, which starts with repentance.

Repentance is good ground for seed - the Word of God - to fall into a person’s heart.

That if thou confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10: 9 -10
